Most of our work comes from people who have dealt with us before, or who were sent to us by somebody who did.

How we work

We use plain language. If a matter is straightforward, we will say so. If it is not, we will tell you why, and what that means for the time and the cost.

You will have our charges in writing before we start, under section 150 of the Legal Services Regulation Act 2015, and an updated notice if the position changes materially. You will not receive a bill you were not expecting.

We give you our view of a matter, including where that view is not the one you were hoping for. Advice that only tells a client what they want to hear is of no use to them.

Most matters can be dealt with by telephone, email, video call or post where that suits you. Certain documents still have to be signed in person, and we have two offices to make that easier.
